PC World – In the wake of high profile cyber-bullying cases — such as the one that led to a teenage suicide in 2006 — social networking sites have been tightening the belt on Internet security. Pushing itself to the forefront, Facebook has overhauled its Safety Center with descriptive information for teens, parents, law enforcement officials, educators and general users to help protect themselves against scammers, bullies and other riffraff.

Black Hawk Down: China Busted Hacker-Training Site (NewsFactor)

NewsFactor – The Chinese government has arrested three hackers who were running an online hacker-training business. The trio of hackers operated Black Hawk Safety Net, a company that collected nearly $1 million from more than 120,000 members.

Report: Google to Make Gmail More Social (PC World)
